Check in took 25 min even though only one couple was ahead of us and we had prepaid. Building under construction/renovation so common areas not available. Plastic bags stuffed behind sculpture in room— who did that? prior guests? cleaning staff? Breakfast was good though. Entrance is behind scaffolding and across the street abandoned buildings with graffiti all over, making neighborhood feel less safe.

Was rushing in downstairs rr was closed for remodeling but the front desk was so sweet. She was checking someone in but directed me where to go so I didn't feel panicked.
