LA CASITA ON EAST 7TH STREET

La Casita was The Station's first hosting space and has held strong ever since. It is a cozy tiny house tucked away in Central East Austin.
The space
The Station is a family owned business and is operated by local Austinites. Thomas grew up in East Austin and has worked in real estate investments in the area for the last 20 years. Anthony and Janniliz, a lawyer and a teacher, desire to help guests feel more connected and at home in East Austin's thriving culture.

The Station is home to three Airbnb's. The business is located in Central East Austin, an up and coming area with trendy bars, live music venues, great local restaurants and third wave coffee. We are also less than 2 miles from downtown Austin and a short walk from most bars on the East Sixth stretch.

Coolness in the heat
La Casita is a charming cottage in a quiet part of Austin but within walking distance of 6th St. it was well air conditioned which was definitely needed on a very hot weekend. The aforementioned trains did not bother me.

cozy, close to the center by car
I enjoyed the secluded cozy nook created by the host. The place was easy to access, clean, and welcoming. The layout of the little house allows to compartmentalize work, food, and sleep. It has a street car railway right by which may be problematic early in the morning. Thank you for hosting me.
