"We had an extremely relaxing four nights at the cabin and highly recommend Lake Settons. The cabin was very close to the lake,it was peaceful and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was very easy. We would definitely stay again."

"Un très bon séjour au sein de ce logement ! Fred est très sympathique et le logement était parfaitement adapté pour la famille (petit bémol sur le manque de casseroles mais c'est un détail). Nous y étions tellement bien que nous sommes finalement très peu sorti du logement ! L'extérieur est bien aménagé, les équipements de loisirs sont présents et la maison est grande et confortable. "Le temps n'étant de la partie (pluie et fraîcheur , 18/20° dans la journée et 6/8° la nuit ) Jean François et son épouse nous ont proposé gentillement d utiliser le chauffage. malgré tout avec les quelques rayons de soleil l environnement est superbe . Nombreuses visites de, la region : Bibracte et son Mont , l'abbaye de la pierre qui vire , Autun etc. Nous sommes malgré le temps content de notre sejour. "

"Nous étions une vingtaine d'adultes et une dizaine d'enfants. Il y a de la place pour tout le monde, sans se marcher dessus. Les enfants ont été ravis de profiter des jeux et des animaux. Personne ne s'est ennuyé durant ce week-end. Hôte disponible et réactive. Très bon séjour pour l'ensemble des participants !"

"Lovely property located in the center of the village of Puligny Montrachet. Helpful staff, clean and well-appointed rooms. Excellent breakast. Very good for dinner as well but menu is limited to a handful of choices. Phenomenal wine list and a 16,000 bottle wine cellar with fair prices. "

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

Extreme dissapointment

"Made the reservation for my wife as she was driving across France and wasn't sure when she would need to sleep. I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. The demeanor of the lady checking my wife in was beyond a Parisian cold. Given what my wife has explained she was just rude. And my wife is someone who never likes to complain about customer service. The coup de gras was her being asked to pay the next morning after I had already paid. My wife thought I had paid on the website but she is not confrontational. Overall, there is another hotel chain in France that shares the name of a bird. I would highly recommend you go there. For the same price you will receive the same accomodations but with kinder service. But I must admit there was a lady the next day that we spoke to, Julie, who was very kind. Yet, I will never reserve another room there. In case the staff would like to reply and say this has to do with the restaurant being closed on Sunday, it does not. While we were surprised that it was closed we were prepared and I found my wife a place close by she could stop for a takeaway salad before she arrived at the hotel. Yet I do wonder how your guests eat on a Sunday. If it is as ridiculous as your scoff implied then all restaurants must be closed on Sunday and of course they aren't. Train your people to have some manners. Teach them, no customers, no job"
