Quiet Rural Home
The house is located on the outskirts of a small town. It is in a quiet area, and the house is set up with everything you need for a stay away from home. We would stay here again.

The view was amazing
Just out of town with an amazing view. It wasn’t quite ready when we got there, the host was still cleaning. Which was kinda awkward but she was very apologetic about it and made a trip back to bring us sheets for an air mattress. Overall a decent stay.

Family ThanksChristmas
House is very cozy. I loved that the owners had ice in freezer for us, all towels, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee for keurig maker. I had problems with fridge and she was quick to help on the day of Thanksgiving. I will definitely stay there again when visiting family. So much nicer and no comparison than the disgusting Super 8 in town.

Perfect Out of The Way Spot
Not that Ava is a busy area but the location of this property as described and on the edge of town. Our stay was very quiet and full of nature. We saw deer each day in the field across the road and the neighbors yard and there was a bunch of squirrels in the tree next to the house. Very peaceful to sit and watch them with my morning coffee. The home is perfect for a couple days or longer. I cannot think of anything they did not accommodate for. Hulu for streaming entertainment. We loved it and will be back every time we are in the area to visit family.

Home Away From Home
We were so thrilled to find such a clean and comfortable Vrbo in Ava. We felt as if we were staying with family. Check in was SUPER easy, supplies were all available and updated, the beds were warm and cozy. Communication was fast and helpful. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. The house is minutes from the grocery store and Walmart. We will definitely be staying here for all of our upcoming Ava trips. Don't even attempt to book at the Super 8 when you can have a home away from home. The Ava House is the place to stay!

perfect balance
First, the owners give great attention to detail. It is not only well provided for, but very clean and also a very comfortable home feel with their extra touches. The owner was so kind to meet my short notice request! This farm owned all the land around it, now it is a perfect balance of country road, a few homes down the road when looking out the kitchen window, an open field out the living room window, and amazing Ozarks view from the from porch. Even the furnace is quiet, heats the home quickly. i hope to return soon!

Our tv wasn’t working and Faron came and looked at it and replaced it right away. We are returning thanksgiving week, I need to do some of thanksgiving dinner and would appreciate a clean oven. It it messy looking right now and I didn’t cook there this time. I noticed its supply of pots n pans are very limited. Other than that it was fine. Thank you

Peaceful Retreat
What a quiet and relaxing place to stay! We loved the sunrises over the trees from the front porch. The kitchen was decently stocked with mismatched dishes and utensils- which fit the casual country ambiance perfectly and was completely functional. Farron and Nacole were great hosts. When I mentioned that I did not see a spatula/scraper, they delivered one to the house straightway! Note that the tub/shower only functions as a shower, but not as a tub for baths- unless we just couldn't figure out how to make it work. Although we typically only stay at places with king beds (I'm 6'4"), we made do with the queen beds- which were very comfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Wonderful place
Communication with the property owner was easy. Ava is a small town. We arrived and the check in process was very easy. The home was impeccable. The views from the home are beautiful! Do yourself a favor and set an alarm to watch the sunrise on the porch. It’s truly breathtaking. I have two children (7 and 12). They absolutely loved the property! There was a bike for my oldest to ride. My youngest enjoyed finding sticks to play with. One night we saw a deer outside the bedroom window which the kids loved! In the kitchen there was everything we needed. I would definitely book this home again!

Nice front porch, close to SMORR
The house is a little rustic, but everything was clean/in good working order and it has plenty of space. It is only 18 minutes from great off-roading at SMORR and there was plenty of space for parking. There are a handful of gas stations and good restaurants just a few minutes away, but the house itself is a little out of the way so it is nice place to relax. I enjoyed the front porch with a view of the valley across the way.
