"Enjoyed my stay at the Splendor by Wyndham El Calafate immensely. It was a very nice luxurious lodge, with spacious and comfortable rooms, lots of spaces for food and coffee, excellent cuisine, very friendly and professional staff, in a convenient location with Lake Argentina visible in the distance, with El Perito glacier accessible by guided or self tour. El Chalten and Mt. Fitz Roy are about 90 minutes from the hotel. I highly recommend the hotel."

The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. We also found that having a rental car made a big difference. It gave us the flexibility to easily access the main street in El Calafate and explore the surrounding areas without any hassle. "Great hotel; property is new and in very good condition. Conveniently located a few minutes walk to the bus station. Was a great choice for me as I was only stopping in El Calafate for Perito Moreno Glacier. It is a bit of a walk to the main part of town, about 20 minutes, which I didn’t mind as I like to get out and walk and the weather was nice enough to do so. If you’re staying longer in El Calafate and don’t have a car or the weather isn’t great you might want to stay closer to the main town center. But otherwise it was a great place to spend two nights. Room was simple but had a mini fridge and the bathroom had a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast was simple but also good; the lady who made the eggs each morning cooked them perfectly! I think a tea kettle in the room for tea/coffee and maybe a small fan to circulate air would be nice. Overall a solid property! "
