"Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm."

"The host/hostess extremely friendly. The evening meals superb and took extra note of my diet requirements. My room was fine but no chair or place to hang damp towel to dry out. The room was in an annexe and I had to go outside to access all amenities - lounge, dining room, guests’ kitchen. No kettle in the room so this kitchen was essential for out of hours cuppa. Very minor complaints all forgiven due to service and meals."

"Lovely, super clean property in a tranquil location. Great facilities with everything we needed for our three night stay. Comfortable king sized bed in a decent sized room. Parking space next to the accommodation. Our main issue was was with the on line check in as the welcome pack with the form to do this was not attached with the information sent by the hosts.
