Great property in excellent location. Lovely welcome card and shortbread. Fabulous garden but needs gate(s) to be fully dog secure and stop nosey dogs (ours) wandering into neighbours. Super clean and had everything we needed.

Fantastic week in lovely property
The house is spotlessly clean with everything you could need for your stay. The beds are very comfortable and it is so quiet! We had the best sleep in a long time. There is easy communication with Dave & Ella who manage the property and they are very responsive to any queries etc. A big highlight of the property is the hot tub which is in a very private area of the garden which is not at all overlooked. It is well maintained and very clean with a good area of decking and steps to get in and out easily. If you are going in and out of the hot tub and showering it might be worth taking some of your own towels but we didn’t have an issue as we were able to dry towels etc outside in between times. This house is in a great location on the outskirts of town. Nice and quiet but within easy walking distance of shops etc. Would recommend this property 100% and we hope to return soon!

Wonderful area
The property is comfortable and adequate for four adults although the bathroom and corridor space is quite limited. The garden is very pleasant although the grass could have done with cutting. The location was good and the locale was generally quite quiet.

Lovely Easter getaway
A lovely bungalow in a central location. A 20-25 minute walk to shops, restaurants, supermarket etc Very clean, cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub is a real treat and we used it every day after a day out walking/ exploring! Ella and Dave left some Easter treats for our children, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch. Would recommend in a heart beat!

Uncomfortable stay, would not recommend
On first impressions great but in the end we left the evening before our leaving morning. Note Vbro doesn't let you score facilities a 2/5*. Firstly, the beds were horrendous, slats were loose and so far apart the mattress was not supported by the bed at all, other slats were bunched so tightly it was like sleeping on a brick, the pain after a few nights was unbearable. The pillows were either flat or lumpy. The property says it's dog friendly it's not, though it says there is no fencing around the garden, this actually means there's no fencing at all. When using the hot tub or sitting out in the garden chilling you have to leave dogs inside as there is no protection from the road, the dogs can travel around the whole house before you blink and be out on the street, this would be a similar issue with small children, the point of booking a garden is it is relaxing and safe. Lack of lighting around the property is an issue, there is only a small porch light at the front of the house meaning you cannot use the garden in evenings unless you put every light in the house on to give you light outside. This also means it's pitch black when returning at night. There was a light near the hot tub but it didn't work, we were asked by host to put bedroom lights on to use hot tub which didn't make for the atmosphere we were hoping for, there was no attempt to fix it whilst we were there for a week. The path to the hot tub is from side of house, over gravel, not pleasant to go out in costume with towel and shoes to get there and then back again with wet feet going into shoes, in the pitch black or with every light in the house on. The facilities do not accommodate 6 people comfortably thankfully we were 6 for just a couple of nights but even with 4 it wasn't pleasant, yes as advertised there is a camp bed but it only fits comfortably in the living room which means kids have to go to bed at same time as adults, there wasn't enough seating for 6 in lounge and the only drying radiator for towels was a small one, it fitted 3 towels max which meant 6 people having a shower, hot tub, shower meant they were still wet when all were wanting to use hot tub after a long day. I'd recommend taking your own towels, they weren't suitable for using to and from hot tub. The oven and lower cupboards in the kitchen are not fixed therefore move when using, very concerning. A proper bin is needed for personal hygiene in bathroom, extremely embarrassing for women to not have one.

Wonderful Holiday Cottage
Excellent quality, homely and spacious cottage. Brilliant base for our summer holiday! It was in a quiet area, very scenic, and has wonderful garden with flowers and plenty of space, all the more restful with the glorious hot tub! 5 minutes walk from beautiful River Spey, loads of walks and outdoor activities and yet with easy access to shops and cafes etc. Ella is a wonderful host, thanks for being so easy to communicate with, we loved staying here!

Nice place very quiet area. The property was great but a few things were dated. Also the garden is not enclosed - luckily our furry friend is not an escape artist but if you do have a practicing Houdini this probably isn’t the best place for you. Overall an 8 out of 10

Fabulous holiday home.
We all had a fabulous holiday. Silver Trees was perfect it was spotless clean and the owners have thought about everything if you need it its there. Iron, hairdryer to many to mention it had everything. Plenty hot water, good wifi. The gardens were beautiful very well kept. There isn't a gate if your taking your dog but lots of beautiful walks around. The neighbours are very friendly they all just loved our dog they spoiled him so much. The hottub is just what you need after a busy day. It would have been even better if there was French doors in one of the back bedrooms to come straight out to the hottub and garden. Silver trees is a great place to stay and relax listening to the steam train going past......just perfect. We will definitely be back. Thank you Ella & Dave for letting us stay.

Brilliant accommodation with a hot tub ❤🧡💛
This accommodation had everything we needed amd more. Ideally located with stunning surroundings. AVIEMORE is hikers paradise and thats what we did everyday. Different hikes everyday, chilled out daily by loch morlich at the end of our hike which is only a 20 minutes drive from this location. The hot tub was just perfect aftet a day of adventure. I cant recommend it enough. Ella was quick to attend to our needs when we arrived late and couldn't access my email. Of all the places we have visited in the UK, AVIEMORE is now our favourite. Absolutely gorgeous and so are the people too. Do not even think twice aboit it. Just book it if its available. You will have the best time of your life ❤️

Relaxing Snowy Week
Overall the property and facilities were ideal for our family. The hot tub was lovely but it would have been better if it was sheltered in some way to protect against the rain/snow . I appreciated that maybe tricky depending on the weather. A better clothes drying facility would have been helpful as the supplied airer was limited in size. The TV was great but the supplied manual was for a different make of TV completely. The kitchen was well equipped but a drainer would have been useful for plates etc. when washing up. Location was great being on a quiet cul de sac with good parking. We have stayed in Aviemore 2 times before always in this area. However, this was better as we were closer to the COOP supermarket and also walking to Main Street didn't take too long.

Exceptional accommodation in a beautiful location.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations in many ways. It was a home from home, we had everything we needed and more. I would love to say that the host tended to our every need, however she didn't need to as she had everything prepared for our arrival and we had a faultless relaxing week. I Highly recommend this property and the host, we would love to visit again next year.
