If younhave a car, 2 parking lots within a couple blocks either way. Be aware that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator (typical for the older buildings downtown). "Apt was exactly as described and shown, comfortable for a couple. There is no oven, so plan meals accordingly. Close to free parking and free bus into old city Avignon - we went in for a day, and then later for 2 separate evening meals - very easy! Great location to tour around Avignon as well, as car parking if free on street outside and good connections to various highways. Do NOT try to drive in Avignon- take the free bus in."

"The house is beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. Anne and Vincent are excellent hosts, going above and beyond providing helpful guidance with taxis, restaurants, side trips, coiffures, from the mundane to the sublime. Carolina and her husband and lovely dog Flokie also live on the property. Carolina kept the house pristine and was so sweet and helpful. We stayed for almost a month. How lucky for us!"

"We had a delightful visit to Avignon, using all three apartments offered by this host. The apartments were spread across four floors and provided plenty of room for my family to spread out. As the listing states, it is eclectically decorated with lots of odds and ends all over. We could never locate the laundry machine, but there was a great laundromat nearby. The location was superb for exploring Avignon."

"Comfortable apartment with plenty of space. Kitchen a little small, but had everything we needed. Lovely terrace, though we were there in November and were only warm enough to use it a few times. A little tricky to find the first time, especially since buildings in area can interfre with Google maps reception, but signs to black oak theatre helped, once we found it the first time. Would definitely stay there again."

"Everything with the unit was good except parking is a very big challenge. You cannot get within 3-4 blocks of the unit with a car because it is in a restricted area. The stairwell to get to the unit is very dark, narrow and winding. It was very difficult to manage luggage. The host needs to provide more detail about these things before arrival."
