I chose Falcon Point based on price and location, and the "hotel" was very good in these two aspects. There's a town bus stop nearby. It's a 10-minute walk (in ski boots) to the town gondola to Beaver Creek. The price was excellent for a very pricy Avon. Relatively speaking, it was They have an underground garage - super handy to avoid snowstorms and the cold. Parking is complimentary. The front-desk staff was amazing. The wifi worked very well for me. There was a full-sized fridge, stove, dishwasher, and a fancy microwave. There's a comfy couch and a nice desk. Shower worked well. It's about 10-minute walk into town / restaurants. City Market and Walmart are a bit farther. It's not a hotel - there isn't someone around the clock, but this wasn't an issue for me. The room itself is small-ish but comfortable. It's not fancy but it's nice enough with a good sleep quality. The heat worked fine. They have coin laundry and a clubhouse/pool in another building. It's nothing fancy, but it's a good value for Avon and nice enough if you're just there to ski.

Everything was phenomenal - we slept very well throughout the trip. The only thing we would ask, is on the first night, we noticed someone came into our room, when the gentleman at the reception said they would come on Wednesday to replace the towels etc. We will surely be coming back next year and really appreciate the service.

Falcon Point Hidden Gem
What a hidden gem. The property is in great shape. The location is PERFECT for walking all over Avon. We found great restaurants, a great liquor store, bike shop, and the Nottingham Lake is right out the back door. Cant wait to stay here again.
