"The apartment was clean and neat. Staff were friendly. Stay was very comfortable Should have added more plugs. No place to plug on the toaster/kettle. You have to unplug the tv/light to plug them in and keep them on floor The main issue was there was no wifi. We booked through hotels.com who told there was free wifi. But the receptionist told the details were not changed even though it was informed several times."

Our biggest frustration was with Gael the owner. €190 worth of extra costs, were not detailed until after our booking, and the host threatened to cancel if we didn't pay them. The check in was a pain as we were given a number but that number is not in use during check in day and instead a voice recording and new number in french. "We had a great holiday. Good location and good size for family of four with small children. Everything you need. Just be aware the bed linen and towels are not provided and you need to bring your own or rent. But we were made aware of this and it was not an issue. The only other small things is the wifi was not very consistent for us. That was not really a big issue, but might be if you really needed it for work etc. Thanks for a great holiday!"

"We previously stayed at the apartment in 2018 and had been really impressed by the location, the quality of the apartment and the check in process, so were keen to re-book this year when coming back to Avoriaz. "We had a great week in douchka with a family of 5 (boys aged 14,11 and 7). The location is great, next to the welcome station and easy for our ski school. Lovely view. Slight niggles such as constantly running out of basics at meal times (plates/bowls/tea bags/hot water) which was a bit annoying when you rushing to get to lessons.
