"Our experience was lovely! We stayed two nights. The staff was so accomodating--it was our first experience at a traditional ryokan, and the staff was very helpful in explaining various customs. They made us feel very at home. The free shuttle to and from the station was very convenient and easy to reserve. "The picture, the huge crab aquarium at the entrance, the crab marking on the room numbers tell it all, this is a Ryokan for eating really good crab. Sakai, is a far place, and it is pretty old and run down, but it would all be worth it for the crab. "2nd floor has a very fish oil smell from the restaurant. Besides that, the modern Japanese rooms are unreal, awesome amenities, great onsen, with a cold pool, no sauna. Staff were excellent, there are places for smoking. A Family Mart just around the corner, and good restaurants around, although is dark to walk around at night. But seems more for groups and families that are staying exclusively in the onsen."

"This was my first time to stay in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) and I really like it! The hotel was a bit old but still in good condition.
