"The owners are lovely people, we had a very welcome bedding and towels change during our two weeks stay which gave that hotel feel.The beds are comfortable and bedrooms lovely and a well equipped kitchen(although no scissors or tin opener). its a beautiful place. We spent many hours cooling off in the gated pool, and there was even a small lake so took the kids on the odd fishing trip. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Highly recommended!"

"Another great week watching the wildlife, family of wild pigs wandering about the lake edge and a good chat to the fish farm worker as to how things worked. Would recommend this his site to anyone who loves nature. Great little restaurant in St Micheal de Brenne for a lunch time meal as well."

"This really is a Narnia house- the entrance is somewhat deceptive because once you get inside it is quite magical. Not only has the owner, Nancy, gathered together a lot of fascinating French antiques, but it is also a very comfortable house with every modern appliance you can think of. We didn’t use the garden much as we had a lot of rain but it is pretty, enclosed and safe for our dog. The village is within easy walking distance and has a baker! Date of stay - 23 - 27 September 2024 "

"Good parking Check out at 10 am is too early for travelers Breakfast poor: we only got a bottle of milk no juice in the refrigerator. Our room has no air conditioner , has a fan instead. Disappointed ,room doesn’t look anything like pictures shown Windows has no screen, so when we open to get fresh air, bugs flown in. Fortunately we only stay one night otherwise I wouldn’t stay longer."
