"Very clean and very comfortable stay. Firm and comfortable beds - no back pain! Big enough room for a family of four with 2 growing boys. Simple but tasty continental breakfast. Good restaurant short drive away for supper. Off road parking. Didn't feel need to unpack car. Lounge area and lobely outside spaces. Perfect stop over.Will stay again en route to south of France. "

"There is no front desk on site, you have to get your key in a bar next street, despite a parking on site and an «entrance » sign… Also breakfast is served no later than 9:30 and rooms have to be returned by 10am (they accommodate 1or 2h extra) Restaurant closes super early as well… Bathroom was gross… Bed had hair in it!… Overall would def pay the extra bucks for an additional star!"

"It's not just to stay in a castle, it is to have the whole medieval experience including a magnificent tour given by Serge, your host. Serge and his wife have performed a very careful renovation of the castle, in which you wouldn't find anything misplaced, but at the same time, you get all the commodities needed. Great breakfast. "The hotel is in an ideal location however it needs a complete renovation The rooms are tired and dated and the en-suite was un workable, the shower cubicle door was broken and wouldn’t close. The complementary toiletries were 3 sachets of shampoo which wasn’t adequate for a shower. We feel that the price advertised was extortionate for the facilities we had. We will not be returning or recommend this hotel "
