"Stayed for one week to relax and enjoy the ocean waves and breeze. It was a great break from the city noise and busy lifestyle. I stayed in a small room which is enough for two people because it contains a queen size bed and bathroom. If you require to do some work on your laptop then there are tables, benches, and chairs in the lobby while looking at beach. Wifi is available both in the room and the lobby. "There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort. First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing. We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained. There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. Maybe other reviews...

"Room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no kettle….. these 2 items are very essential for people who loves cold or hot drink without the need of getting out of the room. No hot water twice…. First episode was reported and fixed but did not last longer and no hot water again!!! The bed is very comfortable, but the top sheet or kumot is so thin, not a good one for someone who love to sleep in a cold room. 5 star for the hotel staffs"

"I only stayed 1 night, but this hotel is a disaster . Barely any running water, no toilet paper or soap or shampoo. Blood stains on pillow and sheet. No dead bolt on door . But the staff were decent and the food was good in their restaurant."

Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Only negative was that the advertised free parking was not free if you book through an on-line service, like Orbitz. We had a power failure the first night and it knocked out WiFi for the remainder of our stay. Same for Cafe Marco and Dawei Tea House. But that was beyond...
