We have stayed at several hotels in BA before finding Hotel St Georg - we have come back 4 times since our first stay and each time we have been there we have had an incredible time. The staff is helpful the rooms are clean, the breakfest is delicious and the spa is awesome! We highly recommend if you are going to BA to stay here.

This was our 4th time to Bad Abling and by far our favorite stay was at Hotel St Georg. The spa was fantastic and workout room nice. Our room accommodated all of our needs and more. The location was great and in walking distance to the market and to town for dinner.

Nice staff, good breakfast and ok pool. They mismanaged (“hey we have extra money due technical incomptence, let’s not try to find where it should be placed and annoy a guest”) our pre-payment trough Expedia which took a long time to rectify, beds are dry hard, parking was horrible (very busy).

Worst start of a vacation ever, chaos from checkin to checkout, recommend a checkin system. Booked two rooms for one night, and one was a bonus night which was prepaid through Hotel.com, even I notified reception during checkin, they disregarded that info when I had to check out and the insisted to claim full payment for both rooms, regardless if I showed them receipt that the payment was already done for one room. I was trying to claim my money back when I came home, which was impossible. Hotel.com agreed to reimburse my bonus night and the money paid for that. Such a bad experience. Never coming back to Skt. George.

Die Buchung war unkompliziert möglich! Wir hatten ein tolles Familienzimmer. Aufgrund einer Durchgangstüre waren es zwei Schlafzimmer zuzüglich einer Terasse! - Wunderbar!

Die Umgebung der Unterkunft bietet sehr viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Die Nähe bspw zum Chiemsee oder zum Tegernsee ist top. Zurück im Hotel genießt man die herrliche Ruhe dort. Dennoch überzeugt uns das Hotel St. Georg nicht. Uns hat der gewisse Wohlfühl-Charakter gefehlt. Unser Familienzimmer war teilrenoviert - das Bad neu, der Rest zwar sauber aber definitiv in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Am Frühstücksbuffet herrschte zur Stoßzeit sehr viel Betrieb, das Personal kam mit dem Auffüllen kaum hinterher. Für den gezahlten Preis und die Sternekategorie kann man Besseres erwarten. Preis-Leistung passt für uns unter‘m Strich leider nicht.

Wir haben für ein verlängertes Wochenende ein SPA Hotel zum entspannen gesucht. Das Einschecken war bereits mit 30 Minuten Wartezeit bis Mann dran kam. Das Personal ist freundlich und lächelt immer, ist aber oft mit der Sprache und die Anforderungen überfordert. Immer wieder passieren Pannen, die im Kauf genommen werden müssen, wo auch keine Entschädigung kommt. An den Aufzügen steht immer nur für 4 Personen aus Sicherheits- und Altersgründen, obwohl sie für mehr zugelassen sind. Im SPA Bereich funktioniert eine Kabine nicht. Im Ruheraum hat der Lichtschalter ein Wackelkontakt. Es gibt keine Getränke oder Wasserspender im SPA, es werden nur kostenlose Handtücher für den SPA bereitgestellt, mehr nur gegen Aufpreis. Lampenabdeckungen fehlen in eine Sauna ,Abflußsabdeckungen im Whirlpool fehlen. Außenbereich Schmutzig und mit Spinnweben. Zeiten der Nützung stimmen nicht. Kinderspielplatz Schmutzig und Sandkasten hat kein Sand mehr. Parkplatzsuche war am Abend immer ein Problem, Plätze in der Garage gibt es nur mit Aufpreis. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel fanden wir die Mängel und Pannen auf Dauer doch etwas Zuviel des Guten. Nochmal wollen wir nicht kommen.
