"Very relaxing and comfortable stay in the countryside near Sarlat. The room was small but comfortable and with all amenities. Very quiet in an old country home. "It's amazing how only two people (husband and wife - they run this place) can make you feel welcome and like you come to the house of loving friends or relatives! They greet us with the smile, showed to our rooms and offered us dinner even it was 10 pm. When was last time you had such a service!?? "Our room was in amongst renovated farm buildings, rustic on the outside but nice and well appointed inside. There was a pool. It was set in wooded hills a few miles from Sarlat. Peaceful and beautiful. The reception and restaurant were in a seperate building a couple of kilometers away. Access was by a one way system of narrow roads. The setup was unusual but enjoyable. We ate outdoors every evening and the cuisine was great. We would go again if visiting this area."
