"This location in Sequoia National Park is fabulous, but the lodge itself was mediocre. Some refinements in decor would make it seem more like a national park lodge rather than just a motel along an interstate highway. The residential rooms were separated from the main lodge building by a walk of about ten minutes. This was a disconcerting and disappointing factor in our experience at the lodge."

"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees....

"My partner convinced me to go "camping" for a night, since typically I would choose more of a glamping type experience. But this to me was glamping!! "This stay was a spectacular serene wilderness getaway. The area was clean and the place felt very secure. The site had gorgeous views. It far exceeded expectations and was the perfect spot to explore the national parks. Would highly recommend!!
