"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. "We so enjoyed our holiday in this ideally located cosy cottage with its fantastic pool which was used daily. We were able to walk to the pretty market town of Uzes with its amazing array of shops and restaurants,on a quiet path behind the house. "It was a wonderful stay in this exceptional hotel. The room was beautifully furnished. The service in the hotel was very courteous. The stairs to the Prestige Suite are very narrow and steep. It was no problem for us."

Location - you are within a comfortable walk to Uzes centre yet far enough away to not have to worry about being crowded by the Wednesday and Saturday markets. Intermarche is only 2 mins drive if you're looking for a larger supply, otherwise three smaller shops are available in walking distance in the old town. Accommodation - three generous double rooms and plenty of sitting areas, you will never want your own private space. Airconditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, internet, multiple TV's and of course the pool, again in a separate area with its own secluded and generous space. Host - Alain is the icing on the cake, knowledgeable, courteous, discreet, generous with both his time and understanding. He made us feel very welcome and secure.
