If one is not there for a fancy hotel room, but for sightseeing, this is a great, clean, bare bones room. It is close to the train station. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view! Breakfast was also on the 5th floor. Close proximity to all the museums and Duomo, 20 minute walk or less to everything. We walked everywhere!

I understand it’s an old hotel that is centrally located. That being said, it is too overpriced for the condition of the room. I wouldn’t recommend to others as Florence is such a small city that everywhere you book/ you’re in the “center.” Not worth the value is all for me.

The staff, room, lobby and location were exceptionally fabulous. Near everything and even had a roof top dining area with excellent food and gorgeous views of the city. The staff were friendly, super helpful, knowledgeable and went the extra mile for us. We couldn’t have been happier!
