"This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. The balcony had a seat so could chill out on. The restaurant was fully booked but as was a resident they found me a table, the food was lovely. "Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. We enjoyed the gourmet restaurant very much (reservations needed) but even the regular restaurant was delicious. "A very nice hotel. Friendly staff, very clean and they made a real effort for my”speacil needs” breakfast. Disntbuse the spa but it looked fantastic. A well run hotel with real emphasis on customer service. The only negative thing was that the hotel was “closed” on arrival (12:30 am) and if there had not been a few people in the bar outside I am not sure how we would have got in. "

"Friendly and helpful staff at a nice hotel in a quiet corner of the Black Forest. Dining was very good, and while the breakfast was not elaborate it was tasty and staff kept the buffet stocked even during a morning rush. All in all a good value."
