"We needed a place to collapse and reset! This was perfect! Secluded and private with a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the lake. Not having to transport our own kayaks was a great plus; kayaks in good shape. The light over the main dining table was not working, as well as a few electric outlets -- we bought a lantern at Walmart in Calais and did just fine. Got a few really cold showers -- finally figured out one of us needed to shower in the am and the other in the pm to get 2 hot...

"A sweet cabin in the woods. The moment you walk into the cabin, you know you are "home". Lots of attention to detail. After a long, dark, foggy drive it was so nice to arrive at the cabin and see a big bowl of snacks waiting for us and the dogs even had their own welcome basket. Very dog-friendly location. "We had an amazingly peaceful time at the cabin. The sunrise over the water was beautiful and you can't get enough of the starry sky at night. The cabin, situated on a peaceful lake and in a fairy-woodland, gently persuades one to thoroughly release every stress. The cabin itself is well-stocked and smells of fresh pine.
