"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. "We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like. Highly recommended."

"This is a very well appointed appartment with a great view and location. Bright, modern and well-equipped it met the needs of three friends of a certain age perfectly. In better weather we would have sat more on the balcony which is a real feature of the appartment. Add a warm welcome by the owner and the charm of Le Crotoy, and we had an excellent stay."

"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

"The caravan was a lovely size for 4, was clean, comfortable and functional. We didn’t use any of the facilities on site as we were mostly out. The check in and check out was fluid considering the staff don’t speak much English. The area has nothing rally to do so you either need the car or the train to get out and do things. "Have stayed here many times and love this house.It has lots of advantages - easy walk to town, great views, lovely garden (see the little steam train go past), BBq, Log burner, off-road parking etc., etc. Many improvements made by current owners. Nice restaurants very close by (would recommend Port De Plaisace and La Canoterie) , for a great meal take the little train to Le Crotoy and eat at L'Auberge de la Marine, it's fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit."

"We had a pleasant stay here. The Hotel is a traditional family run hotel full of character and a friendly welcome. The room was clean and tidy and is well placed for exploring Abbeville along the Somme river or even handy for the railway station if you wish to explore the area further by train. The Breakfast was excellent and plenty with a good selection of juice, fresh bread, fresh Croissants, Yoghurt, excellent coffee, preserves and all in all good value for money"
