"Cold welcome from a blonde lady at reception who asked ‘can I help you’ when I walked in with my walking gear on. Perhaps she thought I was not good enough to stay there but compared to other stays this was unwelcoming! A smile and a welcome wouldn’t go amiss! Other than that The rest of the staff were lovely. "This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "
