However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. "This is a beautiful quiet cottage finished to a high standard with everything you need for a chilled relaxing holiday.Communication with Ray and Julie was great and the pool was an amazing addition to the cottage.The location is perfect for walking Dovedale 30 mins, Tissington trail 20 mins and the Old Dog Pub which was very welcoming 10 minutes walk.Cannot fault the whole package and would not hesitate to revisit in the future."

"Good location for Sheffield although the area is a bit drab. Parking was more difficult than we expected. The apartment does not have its own parking, it's street parking any mostly permit holder only with literally a few spare free spaces so it's luck if you get one. The apartment block is nicely decorated and we had room 1 which was a studio. Had every thing you needed including dishwasher & washing machine and detergents for both (neither of which we used) but no shower gel in bathroom....

"A thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay at this boutique hotel.We stayed in a junior suite which was very comfortable and spacious. Slight niggle that the loo flush requires attention and there was an absence of facial tissue which we would expect to find in a hotel of this standard but it did not detract too much from our stay. Our evening Meal of home made chicken and mushroom pie followed by chefs own Bakewell tart with raspberry ice cream was delicious."
