"We had a lovely stay! The alligators visited daily which provided great entertainment!Our refrigerator failed:-( BUT, Katie & Edie were on it and resolved the issue as quickly as possible. I'd happily stay there again!"
"This was the most well stocked house we have stayed in. You felt like you were staying at a friend’s house. Everything you could need was available in the kitchen, plenty of towels for shower and beach, beach toys, chairs etc. The house was directly off the beach- just a short walk to the access walkway and a straight shot to the market as well. The view from the top balcony was enjoyed by everyone each morning. Hugh was super responsive for a few minor issues we had. Will stay here again! "
"We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great place for lots of families to gather. We mostly ate on the deck so everyone could eat together at the multiple tables. The property manager was quick to respond and make sure things were going well. The house has everything we needed even if it took a minute to figure out where things were. It was dated but clean. There were beach chairs, toys, and an umbrella, although I get the impression these are just left by guests and not necessarily provided/ guaranteed by the owners. There was a crock pot, blender, grill (with strict rules that it had to be used away from the house). The beach was a quick 5 minute drive. "

"I have been coming to BHI since 1984. This is the first time I have stayed in Fire. It was perfect for what I needed. Even though it’s small, it was plenty of room for myself and actually 2 people would be comfortable. It was quiet and Jules provided ample communication and made the whole check in and check out process very easy. I would highly recommend Fire for a single or even a couple. "

"We stayed here for a weekend while my spouse ran the Cape Fear Badwater race. Great location in the harbour. Dogs and I lenjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the marsh birds and other creatures. Golf cart was in good repair, though we only used it a few times because restaurants are within walking distance. Space would be tight if staying for an extended period, but was perfect for our needs. "
