A room

It was a room with a bath and toilet. It served its purpose as a place to stay for the night on a trip. A handyman would have work for a month fixing up the room; holes in the wall, missing facet handle, curtains, door frame etc.

Great motel on a budget/friendly staff

Stayed here for a night with my brother and the staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated but cozy and comfortable. It was conveniently located with a Tim Hortons and gas station 2 mins away and about a 5 minute drive to Espanola. Would recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay on a budget. Thank you Alta Vista staff for a great stay.

It's not the Ritz Carlton. But it doesn't profess to be. Decent place to stay, staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would stay at the Alta Vista again if visiting McKerrow.
