What a fabulous property! The owners are so friendly. The pickle ball and basketball court are awesome for kids after a long car ride. Our room was very spacious and comfortable!
This was a very lovely place - spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the outside sports area where one could either play pickleball, badminton or throw a basketball!
The property itself is stunning with an incredible view of the lake. The hosts are some of the most hospitable that I’ve ever met.
If you love sports like basketball, badminton or pickleball this is your place!
A fantastic 'Home Base' for a Getaway Retreat... Close to the Balfour / Kootenay Bay Ferry Crossing... Hiking & Climbing, Golf, Water Sports a short drive away in all directions, as are Ainsworth Hot Springs, Kaslo, and Nelson / Balfour for terrific dining! You'll love it!
This place was absolutely amazing with a beautiful view. Friendly and courteous staff. I would definitely recommend the Kootenay Wild and we will see you again.
The property was beautiful. There was a pickle ball court and basketball. The property was perfectly manicured with lots of beautiful vegetation. I'm a walker so walked the hills in the neighborhood daily. Lots of peace and serenity there. I would go back again. Sharon Wold
We stayed here for 3 nights over the long weekend in September. Rooms and property were beautiful. Small putting green, basketball, and Pickleball court there!
Richard the owner was great!
Great scenery, quiet, well appointed room and amenities.
Only problem the air conditioning wasn’t working. The property manager said it was overloaded because of the heat 37 deg. That wasn’t the case. The system was only blowing warm air. No sleep one night borrowed a fan for last 2.
It’s half way through summer. The air conditioner didn’t just quit working. Too bad but I wouldn’t stay therein any above or below normal temperatures.
