"Really lovely stay Had a room over the harbour so saw the Bastille day fireworks from the balcony. Some extra special staff - we travel a lot and they were 110%. "A disappointing stay at Salina Bay. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Check in is at 5pm, and there were no available rooms so had to wait an open ended amount of time. We didn’t get in the room until almost 6pm. There were no apologies whatsoever. The apartments are basic and uncomfortable, beds broken and creaking. The grounds are full of signs saying ‘ do not step on the grass’. It is pathetic. You come to this place on holiday to relax and are instead met with ridiculous rules...

"Basically good but lacking in certain areas. Only one toilet which is not mentioned in the details. Kitchen poorly equipped. As a self catering holiday, there is little space to store food. We had to request pool towels as there were none and were told that they do not normally supply them. We did receive 4. However a well situated house with fabulous views and great skies at night."

"Beautiful resort with gorgeous views. The balcony was lovely. Convenient location with short drive to Propriano and Sartene. A couple negatives- not enough pool chairs and beach chairs must be rented (40 euro/day). Beach restaurant and drinks are priced a bit too high. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the restaurants, pools and beaches."

"Excellent base for exploring Bonifacio and surrounding magical beaches. Cannot speak highly enough of the manager/owner who was very helpful and friendly. If I was going to suggest ways to improve i would say the apartment needs a more substantial bin and a small fridge in every room would be great (we did only pay for an economy room though). Also 11am checkout would be helpful when breakfast ends at 10 but none of these detracted from our stay. The pool was beautiful and very clean. Thank you...

"I loved this place. Great view from the room balcony, access to beach within 5 mins walk, access to Bonifacio within 10min drive and super friendly staff who were able to recommend walks and other places to go. Little tip - get up early and get yourself down to the beach for sunrise. Magical! Only downsides - some healthier options for breakfast would be great and the fact it wasn’t included in the price (I thought it was - my mistake)."
