"It is in a nice quiet place and there was parking in back of the building. My room was clean with lovely white sheets, but there was a stale smell in the room. I opened the window to get rid off it, but it didn’t go away. I think maybe the carpet and the bedpost need to be steamed cleaned. Also, it’ll be good to have a hand towel and a bin in the bedroom. "We had a wonderful and comfortable 1 night stay at this thoughtfully decorated Hotel in historic Ballarat. Dinner and Breakfast at Lola Restaurant were top notch and personell friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway. "

"It was a nice clean place, with a large space. I only had two concerns: On one of the wooden rails of the stairs wood is being rotted away underneath the paint, leading into the railing to move under my hand. Some of the metal covers was missing in the spa bath. Was a lovely place and very close to town, will be back to stay "
