Great House
Awesome house. Exactly as online. Well stocked. Snacks, milk, and fruit were there for us. Not much capacity for garbage for a large group but other than that it was an amazing house for a large group.

Family break
Beautiful home which comfortably accommodated our family of 9 Adults and 7 children, without being on top of each other. Stunning views for a peaceful sunset on the terrace and fantastic location for access to the many stunning beaches for our kayaks and paddle boards. Great fun had by all.

Balleyconneely house
Lovely home with large windows overlooking the beautiful countryside. Large dining room and family rooms for a large group. Plus a nice sitting room for even more room for family to congregate. It was great to have a washer and dryer. Bernie and her sister, Anita, were wonderful and so cooperative. Nothing negative to say about the lodging experience. Our family of 15 adults (siblings and cousins) were all very pleased with the house. Thanks, Bernie!

Fantastic large family home
We stayed as a group of 9 adults and 9 kids, a mixture of family and friends. We have travelled a lot to various holiday homes around Ireland but we all agreed this was one of the best. The 8 bedrooms all en-suite with their own tv was just great. There was 3 different seating areas so no one was on top of each other. The kitchen appeared recently renovated and was lovely to use. And it was great having facilities like skysports and a smart TV. The upper deck has impressive views and was used frequently for a relaxing after dinner drink. The kids enjoyed the garden and there was a little play park s couple of minutes walk up the road. There are some fantastic beaches a short drive away although we found a lovely one just a 20 minute walk away. Our only slight negative, and it isn’t unique to this property, is again, in the south of Ireland, rubbish is a bit of an issue as homeowners have to pay for waste disposal. A large house at maximum occupancy is going accumulate a lot of waste, no matter how carefully you recycle and it’s always a bit disappointing when on holiday to have to pay extra to dispose of it when you take such things for granted at home. Other than that it was a fantastic stay.

Super

Exactly what we were look looking for
Plenty of room for everyone and well kitted out with enough of the essential items; cutlery, plates, bowls, etc. Not forgetting 3 grills and 2 ovens!

A fantastic house in a stunning location. Watch out for hidden charges for fuel and waste
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Connemara and the house was a great base from which to explore. The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The holiday was tainted at the end with a surprise visit from the owner to settle up fees for waste & fuel, which we hadn’t appreciated were additional to what we’d paid to stay for one week. The fuel charge is in fact stated on the HomeAway website but wasn't mentioned anywhere else in the information provided by the property manager or the owner. When we arrived we were not greeted at the house (as is typical with these types of rentals) which meant we didn’t have a meter reading on arrival. Also, bags of waste were charged per bag however there weren’t facilities in the village to dispose of plastic & cardboard. In my experience of rentals these costs are typically built in so that customers can enjoy their holiday without worrying about extra costs. We had 11 people staying at the house so it was impossible not to generate waste. The owner admitted the waste goes in their commercial waste bins....so a bit of a tax rather than a genuine cost incurred by the owner which left a bad taste. In the end the owner opted not to charge us but it was a shame to end the holiday on a negative note.

Great house
This property is beautiful! There were 17 of us, ranging from 10 months to 75, and it was perfect! We all enjoyed our stay so much. The views from the house, the patio and the rooftop deck were amazing. The location was perfect - close to a restaurant and a store. The house was close to a beach and a golf course and within driving distance of other attractions. We would all give an A plus rating to this property.
