Gorgeous Up at the Lake Home With Modern Features!

Welcome Home to gorgeous Big Blake Lake, a fabulous fishing and recreation lake in Western Wisconsin, located within an hour of the Twin Cities metro. This area features so many outdoor activities: swimming, kayaking, canoeing, water sports, boating, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, winery tours, bike trails, casinos, shopping, and so much more!

A rustic “feel” with modern conveniences! Our goal when building this home was to create a cozy, “at the lake” feel, while still providing all of the modern conveniences of home. Wi-fi, smart DVD/BluRay Player and more! We completed construction and final touches May 2014, so everything in the home is newer.

Main Floor: The oversized windows and sliding doors flood the main floor with natural light and provide gorgeous views of the lake and wildlife! The open floor plan- kitchen, dining room, and living room is perfect for entertaining or family time. Custom log features, such as our amazing log railings and knotty pine feature wall make this home feel like an up north cabin!

Kitchen: Cook for two or a full house! The kitchen features modern conveniences with new appliances, dishwasher, flat top stove, microwave, many small appliances, and is stocked with utensils, pots and pans. The oversized butcher block island is surrounded by a large amount of additional countertops, more than enough for even the most ambitious chef! Custom log bar stools, custom log and mason jar light fixtures, and so much more make this an amazing space.

Dining Room: The Dining Room is surrounded by two sets of 7-foot sliding glass doors, so even when dining at the table you still feel like you are outside enjoying the views. The log kitchen table can easily fit 6-8 people.

Living Room: The Living Room is anchored with a large sectional and recliner chair and offers a 50”+ flat screen TV mounted in the corner so it is able to be seen from anywhere in the open floor plan area. The Roku TV has a Bluray/DVD player with a large selection of DVDs (many children's). Main Floor Bathroom: The main floor bathroom is custom finished with knotty pine wainscoting, a full bathroom with a shower and bath.

Master Bedroom: The crown jewel of the bedrooms! This bedroom features a King bed, a Roku TV, gorgeous custom log furniture, and a sliding glass door which allows you the ultimate views from bed! Drink a cup of morning coffee right from bed and enter onto your private section of the enormous deck with views of the quiet serene lake. Bedroom #2: The second bedroom also features custom log furniture, a full bed, and 2 additional twin beds.

HUGE wrap around Deck: Our deck is a masterpiece of its own! The deck spans 2 entire sides of the 28’ x 40’ cabin. Whether your needs are outdoor dining, socializing with friends, or quiet lounging space…. Cabin on Blake can accommodate you! It also features a gas grill.

Lower Walk-out Level:Family room: Oversized Family Room includes a sectional couch, large Roku TV with smart Bluray/DVD player, extra kitchen table for playing games or extra dining space, and an almost full 2nd kitchen. The large windows in this space provide an amazing view of the lake and full walk-out basement to the shore!

2nd Kitchen/Kitchenette: This space is located in the open concept family room. It is complete with a full-sized refrigerator and freezer, sink, many cabinets and a large counter space. This space is perfect for a bar area, extra prep station for meals, or meal prep for outside meals down by the lake.

3rd Bedroom: Huge lower level bedroom features the following beds -1 queen, 1 full, and 2 twin beds. We also have a twin trundle bed if requested.

Lower Bathroom: The lower level bathroom is generous in size and hosts a ¾ bathroom set up, with a shower available.

Laundry Facilities: We do offer washer and dryer facilities at our home. We have a free dryer for convenience of drying wet clothing from the lake. The washing machine is coin operated.

Outdoor Activities and Facilities: The following items are featured and included in your stay at Cabin on Blake: * Kayak * Paddle Boat * Dock space to bring your own boat (please notify us in advance) Public Boat launch is only one property to the south of the cabin. Extremely convenient. * Small Sandy Swimming area * Nice flat walk-out from home to lake (no steep stairs) * Bonfire pit * Patio furniture

Blake Lake is an amazing fishing lake, and some of the very best fishing is right off of our dock and to the left. The ice fishing can be fantastic too!

Blake Lake is the starting point for snowmobile trails that run all of the way up to Superior, WI and beyond. Many residents on the lake bought their property there because of this feature!

We do require a 3-5 day min stay during the summer months, but if you see a spot available on the calendar and are looking for less, please don’t hesitate to call/email and ask!

**Per Polk County Zoning Ordinance, there is an 8 person maximum (including infants and children) and 2 dog maximum allowed on premises at any time. This includes daytime visitors to the cabin.**
