"The hotel is an old castle high up above the valley - how fantastic is that? Wonderful character with plenty to wander around and explore. We would have enjoyed the views from the rooftop terrace had the weather been a bit warmer but we enjoyed looking around the hotel and relaxing with a drink in the main central room. There was no bar as such but drinks were available from reception and we had a great meal in the restaurant. Good service throughout our stay."

"Historic, tranquil, beautifully renovated converted monastery with several on site restaurants serving delicious food. The breakfast spread is expansive and includes a warm menu an la carte and cold buffet, smoothies, coffee machines, and wines. The breakfast may be one of the many highlights. Our family also enjoyed the self guided tour of the monastery, cloisters and beautiful chapel for about €3 each. The valet and check in staff very friendly and receive guests with a glass of champagne....
