We arrived after dark after a long drive. When we got there, there was no designated parking spot for us even though we were assured before booking there would be. Parking is on the street wherever you can find a place. We parked in the closest space we could find. There were people outside right beside my car looking at us. No one said "hello", and we ( 2 females) felt extremely unsafe. There's a very sketchy alley with trash and other things beside the apartment. It took forever to figure out the lock box. The bedrooms are up a steep flight of old wooden stairs that creak. There are 2 bedrooms, but neither bedroom had any night stand or side table or anywhere to put your phone or a glass of water or anything. One bedroom did have a TV on the wall, but we couldn't find a remote anywhere (again, there's nowhere to even put a remote unless you just leave it on the floor). We finally found it in the window hidden under the shades. It didn't have any batteries. We brought some from my car to put in it. The other bedroom did not have a TV or nightstand or anything other than just a bed. The kitchen is downstairs, but there is no kitchen table. It's probably too small for a table. The smoke alarm was hanging down by wires. There was a dark basement that could not be locked from inside the apartment. It could only be locked if you were in the basement on that side. The basement goes down to the street, so anyone can come up. The host refused any refund. We left .
