"We had a fantastic stay in one of the beach villas. The beautiful beach with the surf was a stunning sight right from our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Most of all, we really enjoyed the sumptuous dinner at the White Box restaurant. Highly recommended. "
"Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war herausragend. Zimmer ruhig, Klimaanlage sehr gut; keine Stechmücken. Deshalb konnte man Balkontür nachts getrost offenlassen. 24Std Zugang zu Kaffee, Tee, Ovomaltine. In der Nähe tolle Restaurants mit beispielsweise Spezialität Ente oder Hot Pot vietnamesisch. Die Altstadt zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders hübsch entlang des Flusses mit kleinen hippen, einheimischen Kneipen. Es wird kaum Englisch gesprochen, aber auch das macht ja den Reiz des Reisens aus. "Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating.
The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this.
The air-conditioning, although worked well, broke down whilst we were staying and leaked lots of water onto the bedroom...
"Convenient location for travelling down to the south of Thailand. Safe place to stay and park. Food and service excellent!! Rooms need slightly updating but a lovely stay with home cooked/baked foods some of the best in Thailand."
"The room and hotel was just okay . Buffet breakfast was very limited. No egg station, no bacon, no yogurt., things that are in most other buffets even in Chanthaburi. A couple dishes in warming trays but all the food was cold or luke warm. No safe in the room, no iron available at the hotel when requested. Best part of the hotel is the swimming pool which was clean, large and also has a jacuzzi section in the pool."

"My first room had no safe and was not clean, considering the price in Thailand I was disappointed. Once I pointed out the safe was not operational they made two other rooms available which were better. The resort is next to the beach we’re there is resturants and a few bars. Potentially with better upkeep of the grounds and general maintenance the resort as plenty to offer there’s plenty to se around and about"

"Beautiful location right on the silky sands of Chao Lao Beach. Amazing sunsets every night. Delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of choices.
The area is a bit out of the way if you don't have your own car but it's worth. You can take buses to and from Chanthaburi and taxi from there.
You can borrow bicycles for free at the hotel.
All of the staff seem to be very nice and helpful but of course not all can speak English. Special shout out to the manager Wiboon, who made everything perfect."
