"I had the Chanian room. What I didn't see when booking is that it is right next to reception and a staff quarters, and not at all like any of the other rooms. That being said, it is a nice room, and cheaper than the others. It is good size, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is peaceful along the river. Nice to sit and relax. Just wish for breakfast they had real coffee and not instant, I mean come on now...."

"The hotel is quite a long distance from Bangkok, but for a couple of nights it is worth a visit (and the 2-3 hour drive across from Bangkok). The setting on the river is beautiful. We have one of the rooms with the kayaks, and these are easily accessible/ readily available. The only drawbacks were that there really is nothing to do in the local area, and to get into the town centre the only option is to use the hotel's taxi service (no other local services or Grab options available). "Loved this hotel. Has probably best sunset views in town over the River Kwai with a happy hour timed to enjoy view. Bridge over river Kwai is 5 minute walk from hotel. Food and restaurant was excellent. Rooms were really nice although some might find them a little on the small side but convenience and sunset views can't be beaten."
