Bandon Stay at Lamplighter Inn
The lodging was close to town/amenities. Also close to where my other family were staying. Reasonably priced and quiet area.

Great place and good location in Bandon, OR
The space was great and very user friendly. I do plan on staying on property the next time I'm in Bandon. I do wish their AC worked better.

Good amenities but noisy
I stayed in the room that allowed dogs. It had a cute yard in the back. Zero complaints about the inn itself but the noise from the road was annoying to say the least. Lots of bikers all three nights I was there.

Nicely decorated. In need of more dishes. Have to use the dishwasher often. Nice washer and dryer...
A lot of traffic noise! We complained about the carpet being a tripping problem. They came out and fixed it immediately! Hard to use the lock with the code!

Good stay
Our GPS didn’t really like the address, but we got there. Very quiet house and neighborhood. Kitchen not very well stocked to cook in. You should bring everything you need with you. Beds are a bit firm.. But we would stay here again, and the weather was absolutely beautiful. House is very well situated close to everything very centrally located.

A great place to stay on a budget.
We were only able to stay two days in March, but the weather was beautiful and we were able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the sun! The fenced yard came in very handy for our three-year-old Yorkie to run around and and the owners even installed a small doggie door for him to go in and out. The home is very clean very comfy furniture, and beds comfortable. The home looks exactly like you see on the 3-D version. of course you’re in the parking lot of the hotel, so there is no view but the backyard that is fenced helps. You can walk across the street or groceries or other items and very close to old town and the wharf. Overall I read this 4 1/2 stars for the price.

nice remodel
this used to be the private residence for an older hotel, the new owners remodeled, nice little place, inexpensive. it is a little difficult to find because the house numbers don't match the hotel, enter through private gate on the back side of the office. close to town. food shopping etc.

Lamplighter Stay
I was so happy to stay at an Oregon coast home that had air conditioning. Many of them don’t and when it gets hot during the day, just opening the windows doesn’t really cool things down. I loved the decor. It wasn’t overbearing, but in very good taste. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The entry to the front door is surrounded by a large deck where a person can remove sandy shoes and socks. I would stay here again.

Big home close to everything needs a few changes
Love the size and the amenities but it smelled like cat and the rug in the living room is coming up and was a huge tripping hazard and hooks fell off the wall and we had no furnace so had to move the space heaters around to keep warm and the bed comforter on the king bed had stains. All in all a great stay for the family and had many memories and great location to everything.

Good value and property
A friend and I stayed here a few days ago. While there is not a giant neon sign showing you where to check in, we figured it out in about 30 seconds, even in the dark. The residence looks to be where the innkeeper would live at this 20 or so room motel. Half of the rental property is the residence, and the smaller portion looks to be where guests check in to the motel during the day. Overall, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were clean, and there were clean towels ready to use. We would stay here again.

Cute little apartment within a mile of old town and 2 miles from the beach and close to anything you need. It looks like this used to be the inn keepers unit at an older roadside hotel that they renovated. It’s spacious, very clean and quiet. There are some neglected maintenance issues like pieces of flooring that are missing, the kitchen faucet has super low water pressure and the sprayer is broken, the gate in the back is broken so if you have a dog keep an eye on them in case it swings open. The seating was a little odd, long skinny living room so you have to sit sideways to see the tv. But, we were there just for the night and it met our needs.

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Address was Wrong
The address of the residence was misleading. We were to be staying in Q. Only numbers on the doors. We called, got an answer. We were to go through what appeared to be a back gate with a “private property” sign on the gate. If a person would not have answered/text, we never would have found the residence.

Convenient & clean retro-chic quarters. Could be better.
Clean inside & easy access. Close to the highway so convenient if you're passing through town. Grocery store just across the street. Yard was messy, BBQ grill was rusted out - but we visited in February & only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't an issue, just an eyesore. The good: The inside was very clean, beds were comfy, bathrooms had plenty of towels. The not-so-good: No instructions for the thermostat, the tv, satellite or sound bar. They all kinda-sorta worked, but not very well. Batteries were dead on one of the remotes. The kitchen is newly renovated & is nice to look at. However, if you plan on cooking you'll have to bring pretty much everything yourself. Kitchen has dishes, glasses, silverware, pots & pans. Large cast-iron skillet was caked with rust. In order to leave it in better shape for the next tenants, I cleaned & oiled it using my own oil - because none was provided. Tragic to treat good cast-iron that way. In addition to no oil, there were also no spices, coffee, tea, sugar, etc. Also no hot pads which was very inconvenient when cooking. Only one kitchen towel provided. Overall, no a bad place, but certainly there's room for improvement.
