VERY SCARY. The doorbell rang at my room. I saw a person in the keyhole and thought it must be my friend who was in another room. I opened the door and a man pushed to get in. I pushed back and he kept his hand in the door. He said he came to get his things. He said he would only take one thing. It went on for several minutes. We called the front desk. Eventually he realized he could not get in and removed his hand from the door. The front desk sent a bellhop with a baggage cart. I told him to get the police and find the thief. The front desk called and said they could not call the police because they didn’t have the details. I told them to get all staff to look for the thief and remove him. I heard much talking in the hallway for a while. I think staff was asking someone to leave the building. There was no further information from the front desk on the situation. This response is not sufficient. In the morning the front desk had only heard that a man got the rooms mixed up. The night manager must have been covering his mistakes. Very poor communication and response. The guest who let him in the building should have been removed. The manager must do a full security assessment and implement a plan including security improvements and staff training. Day manager said he would investigate. They said there was no footage from security cameras. Very poor response and second night was not comfortable after this.

Furamaxclusive - ‘xclusive’ suggests this property is going ti be a cut above the rest. How wrong I was to book here. Property dated… facilities poor … building work ongoing … noise terrible … pool area tiny … sauna broken with a note in the door … overall, so disappointed by this property … couldn’t wait to check out and move to the Trinity Silom complex opposite … such a difference there … Avoid FuramaXclusive, Silom

Another great stay at my 'home' in Bangkok. A hard to beat location coupled with friendly, unobtrusive service. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated and perhaps (just a tad) frumpy and old-fashion, but rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable and everything works pretty well. Some renovation and refreshing exercise is currently going on - but it doesn't disturb the peace. IMO, compared to the many 'new kids on the block', where rooms are tiny, cramped and cost more, (albeit more modern and stylish), the Furama Xclusive Sathorn is a far better bet.

Perfect location and clean hotel.
I have stayed in this part of Bangkok before and liked the look of this hotel. Very impressed with the happy staff and location. The breakfast was lovely. Rooms were clean and spacious. My only small cons was the noisy AC which I just couldn’t adjust. Other than that highly recommended.

Back again, and happy with it!
Another stay at my preferred 'home' whenever I'm in BKK. Yes, the hotel is looking more tired, but it's still my go-to - the unobtrusive service provides for calm and privacy of stay, yet makes you feel very at home at the same time. My only grouse would be reading lights/lamps in the room : inadequate lighting at writing desk and also for reading in bed.

VERY Disapointing. Listed as a 4 star, it's FAR from it. Hardly a 3 star. Old and outdated, is certainly is not an 'Upscale hotel' Holes in things, dirty, not clean, breakfast was dull On the plus side the Rooms are big, and the staff are great.
