While the facade, reception area and dining areas seemed to be well maintained and very nice looking, the (family) room in which we stayed was not up to the price being paid (compared to a similarly priced Mariott hotel). There were also someone’s leftover socks in one of the drawers. The lack of any USB chargers was also something that surprised me at the rate being charged. All being said, it’s an OK hotel, if a little over-priced for what you actually get.

My experience with this hotel was not good. I stayed there twice. The first time I was arriving to BKK very late and leaving very early the next day. Like most seasoned travellers, I checked the bed for bed bugs before using it. I noticed that the mattress had not been vacuumed in a long time and there were a collection of suspicious stains on it. And to make things worse it did not have a mattress cover. I did not see any bed bugs and it was almost 1:00am. So I decided to stay and sleep on top of the cover. In the morning I found two dime sized black spiders in the washroom 😱, one on the floor and one on the vanity. I informed the receptionist when I left; she did not seemed surprised or bother by the finding. She casually apologized, making me think it may be a common occurrence. Unfortunately, I had a reservation for two days later and it was too late to cancel it. When I came back I mentioned my troubles and they gave me a free upgrade -to a clean room. Actually they gave me a two bedroom suite and they sent house keeping to check the room before I got in. The bed was clean, it had a mattress cover and there were no spiders in the room this time. But then I was actually paying attention and noticed that the hallways and elevators we not very clean. A long story but I think is important to share it. I will not stay there again.

Beautiful hotel and a lovely place to end a vacation. The area around the hotel is not as nice for walking and eating as some other parts of Bangkok.

This was the second time I stayed here. Generally, it was very good except for a very loud rock and roll band that played into the night; my room was on the third floor. I was too tired to locate where the music was coming from, so just buried my head deeper into the pillows. The breakfast buffet was, as the first time I stayed, excellent, as was the room.

Located next to the airport in Bangkok with free shuttle. That was exactly what I needed. I was coming in to stay near the airport because my flight out of Bangkok was early in the morning. The staff was very helpful and provided me with the information needed about the hotel. For example: breakfast, shuttle, gym, and swimming pool hours, etc. The water and crackers/cookies given at the check in time was nice. The restaurant has a good selection of meals and there was live music while I had dinner. The gym is very well equipped so it is worth the while to use it. I didn’t check the swimming pool. The room was clean and had plenty room for me. The beds were comfortable. I stayed on the sixth floor. I pointed out that amenities was something I didn’t like. This is because of two things. First, the bath room’s shower gel is limited to one tube. Fortunately there’s a soap bar. Second, the general state of the hallway and room was a little worn. This could be fixed easily. The second thing I didn’t like was the value. This being the price as compared to what I got from the hotel. There are other options near the airport at a lower price. So I felt that the price was a bit higher compared to those other options. In general, a good hotel next to the airport. I still recommend it.

Overall great one night stay prior to catching a flight. Only downside being the smart tv not being able to access apps ie. Netflix, Youtube ect. Free continental breakfast in the morning was delicious, expresso coffee machine available for the caffein junkies. Highly recommend for a night stay prior to your flight.
