2/5 Poor
Leaks in The Rain
"Never once I left a 2star review for anything always trying to concentrate on the positive. I’m not sure if I didn’t read the description of the place correctly, but when booking through VRBO for $160 a night, I was shocked to not even have a trash can. It was literally just a tent, bed, two dying week lanterns and a chair. Oh and an air conditioner that barely made any difference in air temperature but sure did make the tent leak profoundly in the rain because the hose leading outside is not properly sealed through the tent wall (most of our stuff got wet). My 6 year old daughter, who is used to me renting places during our trips, kept asking me “mom, is this a scam?”
Also, there was no fireplace to have fire outside either. First I thought it was a fire season, but all other sites had fire going in the eve. And we were incredibly cold.
I guess, if you are booking, just be aware that you need to bring EVERYTHING as if you are going camping.
Only thing you don’t need to be bringing is the bed. Which was indeed comfy with nice white sheets. That’s why the review is not 0 stars.
Another thing to keep in mind is how close you are to other camping sites. Everyone is packed in like sardines. Waking up to the orchestra of farts in the morning from the surrounding sites is something I will never forget. "
