"The cabin is beautiful, right on the water. It's rustic and I wouldn't want to explore MDI in other way! We had a baby with us, but his afternoon naps and early morning risings. were much more enjoyable with the beautiful view from the cabin. "

Nestled in the Bay of Gouldsboro, it offers beautiful accommodations and views as well as amazing nightly star gazing! "Scott's house on Green Lake was perfect for our vacation. We took advantage of the row boat and kayaks provided and my kids loved it. There was great fishing and swimming and had no issues with neighbors next door. The home was as described and was a complete retreat from work and home. "

"The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park."
