This well appointed apt provides the best of Bar Harbor. While being downtown it’s still just on the outside of the hustle and bustle and also right next to the ballfields, playground and trail heads into Acadia National Park. Includes amazing views of Cadillac Mountain from the living area and one of the bedrooms. Everything else you need is provided to help make a memorable stay.

Perfect Bar Harbor Basecamp
My wife and I had a great stay. The apartment was everything we could have wanted. And, it’s in a perfect location, within walking distance to downtown for post-hike drinks and dinner. Parking was no issue whatsoever; we parked in front of the building each night we were there.

Relaxing stay in Bar Harbor
This property is in a very convenient location in Bar Harbor, easily walkable to the downtown area, harbor and restaurants. There were 4 adults for 6 days, so it was a bit of a challenge sharing a small bathroom but doable. Note that there is NOT free parking with the property. The property was very clean, light and had a well stocked kitchen. The Pac Man machine was a hit!

Great location.
When we arrived it was extremely warm and we contacted the owner for a fan to move air to the bedrooms. We were surprised to find that there was not an a/c unit in the bedrooms. He quickly brought a fan which helped. The parking was tricky but the property location was amazing to walk everywhere. The condo was very clean and well stocked.

Good location, but kids a bit disappointed
We loved our time in Maine! However, we were a little disappointed about where we stayed in Bar Harbor. The location of the apartment was excellent and the check in process was a breeze. However, there wasn't a deadbolt on the door, so we had a prop a chair under the door knob to feel secure at night. Additionally, my kids (4 and 7) were so pumped about the "rocket ship" room and the toy bins. They were a bit bummed that the second bedroom was painted white and didn't have a trundle bed anymore (even though the listing does say there are 2 queen beds). Additionally, there were barely any toys- and no toy organizer with toys. I know toys are absolutely not a necessity, but based on the pictures we were a bit surprised that they weren't still there. Would be a decent place to stay with adults, not sure the kids enjoyed the place as much as they thought they were going to based on the pictures.

Great location
We loved our stay in bar harbor! The apt. Is in such a great location!! It has everything you need. It was so convenient to walk out the front door and walk 2 min to a great coffee shop and 5 more min to be at the center of town with all the beautiful views of the water,shops and restaurants. Parking is difficult but we also had the bad timing to be there with contrstruction being right outside the apt. I'm sure that is only a short term problem. We loved hiking,our boat cruise, seeing the wildlife and eating all the lobster. Can't wait to return!!

Innacurate description, but otherwise okay
The apartment was clean. We received a message a week before telling us parking was tougher due to construction. We showed up to discover a full construction site surrounding the place. The owner could have communicated about this better, as it was confusing to access the place. There are several inaccurate descriptions about the rental, which are pretty significant: 1. There is no on-site parking. You either have to keep paying for parking at the meters or risk getting a ticket for parking in residential parking without a permit. 2. Despite the pictures and description, there ARE NOT air conditioners in the bedrooms. There is one small unit in the livingroom window, Furthermore, the bedroom windows do not have screens, and the apartment is on the third floor. You can't safely leave the window open. Even if you leave the bedroom doors open, the bedrooms were hot at night. At minimum, the listing should be updated to let guests know they are staying in a third floor apartment without sufficient ac/fans/screened windows. 3. The pictures show a twin trundle pull-out bed. That is inaccurate. There is now a queen-sized bed in that room. (My son had to sleep on the couch). 4. The apartment has ZERO storage, aside from a shoe storage bench/shelf inside the front door and a small closet with only 12 hangers. (There was another small closet in the second bedroom, but it was filled with cleaning supplies). Adding hangers and a storage unit in the closets or under the beds would help.

Excellent location
This apartment was in a perfect location. Shops and restaurants were only steps away. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were small but fine for the 3 of us. We would definitely stay here again.
