In the “gateway to Acadia” and set on the shores of a bay just off Mount Desert Island is this charming, beachfront, 3 bedroom home. A recent renovation making this a very comfortable home away from home. Nice, large, newly added sun room with lots of windows to soak in the view and the fresh ocean breezes. Large master bedroom with picture window overlooking the Bay. Air conditioning installed in 2019 on both floors!

Great access to a beach steps away from the house provides hours of fun beach combing and even swimming if you wish to try the chilly Maine waters! Check out the many birds and other indigenous wildlife including eagles, herons, loons, deer, you may even see a fox or a sea otter! Wonderful place to stay!
This was a great place to stay for our week in Acadia. It was very clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent lots of time in the sunroom, and enjoyed watching the seals. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Charming home off the water near Acadia
Lovely home that was great for a quick family getaway to see Acadia in the fall. Plenty of room to spread out inside or out. Magnificent views. Quick 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Amazing Rental Near Acadia

Great place to stay and relax
The property was very spacious and had plenty of room for the four of us. We were sisters on a trip to Maine. It is located about 20 minutes from the North entrance to Acadia and was perfect for us. The sun room overlooking the bay was a wonderful place to sit and have coffee in the morning and sit and visit in the late afternoon after our daily outings. Would highly recommend to others visiting the area.

Lovely Cottage with Gorgeous Sunsets!
Needing extra room to host family over the holidays made Bayside Cottage the perfect solution. The home was clean, well stocked and so roomy! We especially loved the three-season room with phenomenal views of the bay. It was our favorite place to relax and visit. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous each evening adding to our enjoyment. The hosts were attentive and communication was great! We highly recommend Bayside Cottage!

Amazing 3 season room!
The house was spacious, spotless and well-stocked with kitchen utensils and paper goods. The views from the porch are stunning, we primarily used this room and played games and did puzzles. It is a 30-ish minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia, we went several times and also enjoyed breakfast treats from a local bakery.

Perfect!!!
The check in and out process couldn’t be easier. The home is in the perfect location, with the most amazing view, any time of day. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, yet you’re close to everything. The house was spotless, and we’ll supplied. We would definitely stay here again if we make our way back to Maine

Fantastic Stay on the Water
We had an amazing stay at your home. Everything was very clean and the home was well appointed. We spent so much time in the all-seasons room taking in the views and relaxing. We were so excited to see fireflies in the evening - coming from CA that was new to us and so exciting! It's an easy drive to all the places we wanted to visit while we were there and were happy to have a grocery store nearby! The home has everything you need to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation.

Relaxing home base for Acadia adventures
We rented this house for a family vacation and it exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless and well stocked. The sun room was used daily and we all enjoyed finding “treasures” at the shore during low tide. We had 4 adults and 2 children and were comfortable. Short drive to Acadia park and Bar Harbor. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Only suggestion would be darkening shades in the master bedroom.

Wonderful
What a perfect location! Just outside Acadia National Park, right on the water, beautiful view from the house. We spent every morning in the Sun room watching the water and most evenings around the fire pit watching the sun set! During the day we were out hiking and touring the park - only about a 20-30 minute drive to get to trail heads. House was quite comfortable and well stocked. Just had a fantastic time! Could not ask for more!

Fabulous rest on Blue Hill Bay.
A very well cared for and thought out property located right on the shore fronting Blue Hill Bay. The view is quite beautiful. The fire pit, grill and dining set just above the shore are great enhancements to evening enjoyment of those amazing Maine sunsets over the Bay. The sun room is absolutely outstanding. This is a superb rental property cared for by the most attentive host ever. A must return.

Lovely Perch Near Acadia
This is a lovely waterfront property on a cove. The proximity to Acadia is wonderful. The property is on the border of Ellsworth (a "real" town) and Trenton. the property is nice and secluded. we were hearing during the pandemic and chose it as a nice place to be for a socially distant vacation. It was great. We rented kayaks and paddled every day. The yard is fantastic and the house is simple, but very nice and very clean, and very tastefully furnished with updated pieces. We spent most of our time in the sun room, which is outstanding. Veena is lovely and very responsive.

Great Location
Great location - short drive to shopping and outdoor adventuring activities. Comfortable accommodations. Very private lot. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house during our stay, but the sunsets are amazing and it was fun to walk around near the shore during low tide. Beautiful views from the sunroom and main upstairs bedroom. I would recommend this place to friends and family in the future.

Beautiful home base near Acadia
Couldn't ask for a better location, total solitude to watch the tide go in and out, the eagles overhead and the stars at night by the ocean's edge. And yet minutes from Acadia, Bar Harbor and any number of seafood/lobster restaurants for a sit down or carry-out lunch/dinner. Wil and Veena have done an awesome job with the interior, master bedroom with windows looking out at the ocean, a beautiful sunroom also looking out at the ocean. Their place was clean clean clean, comfortable beds, great choice of pots and pans, utensils etc., BBQ grill and fire pit near the ocean's edge. Wild turkeys and deer in the front yard every morning and evening. Would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect house - beautiful location
This was a last minute trip for us and it couldn’t have been better. The house is beautiful! There was only the two of us, but there would have been plenty of room for more! The master bedroom is huge and has great views of the bay! The sunroom was a ledge t place for coffee in the morning. The house had everything you would need and the host was very helpful! From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect.

Location, location, location....
My husband I loved the location of this home. Being able sit by the shore every day and watch the wildlife was exactly what we were looking forward to. The home was clean and nicely furnished. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided by the owners. The sunroom was outstanding! We took lots of day trips to many of the small villages and a schooner sail in Bar Harbor. Wil & Veena have a special spot and we thank them both for sharing it with us.
