Ancient factory still as it was when built in 1903, using its own water driven machines and electricity generator. A tour was included during our stay. Although somewhat isolated, access to restaurant services available within 10 to 15 minutes by driving to the external road, outside the boundary fence, of a motorway service area and passing through a pedestrian gate to shop as required. "

Disappointed that the swimming pool was not open - it was not noted on the website about being closed over winter. Very quiet village, with no restaurant or bars, and we weren't aware the host would cook meals on request. Our only complaints were not being able to eat in our room and new towels are required!
