"Nice property but they cut the 1 foot tall grass the day after we arrived. The place was in good shape, clean but needed some attention to dusting. I found we had about an 8th of an inche of dust on top of our air conditioning unit in our bedroom. The location was great, across the road from the beach. The first 50 feet or so into the water had big stones ober the sand. Up the beach a hundred feet or so didn't. But its not an issue went swimming twice every day. Overall it was a great...

"The pics of the property are misleading. The rooms are very basic. Dated and sparse. I arrived at 3pm and the room was not ready. I had to wait until 5pm as the cleaners were out. I never saw any cleaners and my room was never freshened for the 4 days. There was also never anyone at the front desk. Never! Had to clean hair out of the drain pipe in order for shower to drain. There was a strong smell of marijuana coming from rooms, even though it was a no smoking property. No soap was provided so...

"We had a lovely apartment in which we can cook if we choose to, the area is nice and quite and very clean with such lovely people our Host was so kind and very helpful as for the Swimming pool it was great. We will be return for next Christmas"

"Sharon really did go out of her way to make sure our stay was a great one. She provided some fresh food for our arrival, extra towels on request, arranged airport transfers, and was generally very hospitable. The building has 4 suites, the common area as well the patios offer a community feel. Everything was clean and new. "Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle is very well maintained. It is clean everywhere, the flowers, threes, swimming pool, floors, windows, everything is so clean. It is Wonderful to feel like a princess. The service is wonderful. People really care about you. Even the handyman showed me where the gym was. He took the time to show me personally. It is spectacular to see the values integrated to all the employees. The architect who design this hotel deserve a price. It is so airy, WOW ! We have a view from all the sides of the hotel. Even our room have a nice view. All restaurants and pools have been taught for our best confort and pleasure for the eyes. The room are amazing. The bed confortable like a cloud. The shower....I usually don't like shower...this time I made an exeption and I accepted the room like is was. Ho my god, the shower head is the best I have experienced in my life. I will by the same for my home. Thank you very much for the experience. I will come back soon!"

"The hotel is a joy, a place of rest & relaxation. It has a certain low key atmosphere and vibes that makes it unique on the island, in my opinion. This was our third stay, at DBH & it won’t be the last. I should add too, that DBH is in a perfect location, steps to Dover Market, and St Lawrence Gap for restaurants & entertainment. Also it is a short walk up to the main road for buses. And Oistins with its Fish Fry is close by. Barbados is a gem, & Dover Beach adds to its shine"

"It is on a nice beach on Carlisle Bay. Very convenient and close to a wide variety of activities and food/drinks. The staff are among the best we have ever encountered on our travels. Very pleasant and very helpful. Radisson corporate should really spend to renovate it as it appears tired, but that didn't take away any of our enjoyment."
