Beware of coming back to the hotel after 11pm!! The hotel’s entrance that faces out to the street closes at 11 and then you have to walk through a dark and deserted alley where unfortunately homeless people hang out. We felt very unsafe coming back to our hotel after dinner and the restaurant service around the area is generally so things take time. Plus it’s always nice to walk off dinner and enjoy the main streets. On a good note, Sherry at the main desk was always helpful. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast food was good quality. The hotel absolutely should not have people walk on that alley though. The main entrance should be locked after 11 with a security right there to greet you after you have put your special code in. I hope they do something about this. Also taxis cannot drive on those narrow streets so we had to drag our large suitcases around a bit not knowing exactly where to go when we arrived to Barcelona.

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Pince. Great location, walkable to all areas Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, el Born. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the room. Will happily rebook next time I'm in Barcelona.

This is a modern, comfortable and well maintained property in one of the most historic and interesting Barcelona neighborhoods. The amenities are basic but it was an excellent base to thoroughly explore the Gothic old town. The restaurant has limited options but there are amazing restaurants everywhere nearby. The neighborhood is noisy at night, but that is part of its charm. Probably not a family place, but was a perfect hotel for my purpose.

Beautifully renovated hotel in the gothic quarter. Close to popular tourist areas. We’re pleasantly surprised to find they had a lift. Lovely welcome from the friendly reception staff. We ate in their restaurant where the food was very good. Room was very modern and comfortable with a little balcony. There was a slice of cake to welcome us. Would certainly recommend it and would love to stay there again ourselves.

Very clean, friendly and efficient staff. Worth the money. Very noisy on the street below the window. Trash truck woke me up at midnight every night and parties in the street below virtually all night. Drug area and many undesirables in the area.

Casa Pince was very clean, nicely decorated and had an exceptionally friendly staff. The front desk personnel were fantastic, offering suggestions and assistance. The restaurant staff and housekeeping staff were kind, accommodating and very pleasant. The difficulty we had related to the noise level outside of the hotel. At night, there would be screaming and yelling from people walking by and sometimes, trucks and machinery equipment. The hotel provided us with ear plugs which helped. We recognize that the hotel is limited in what they can do about the outside noise. The only other suggestion we had was related to the breakfasts that we had prepaid. The food was very tasty, but it was basically the same breakfast menu for the whole six days. Perhaps, there could be a breakfast menu for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and a different one for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday?

Had the best stay at Casa Pince, I was a little worrisome that it might be too noisy since the hotel is located in the heart of the gothic quarter but Sherry made sure that my wife and I get the best room possible. She gave us the top floor and windows that weren’t facing the Main Street, sherry also checked us in much earlier than check in time because we landed very early. Overall, 10/10, super clean hotel, amazing staff, great food in their restaurant, if I’m ever back in Barcelona, I’m only staying here.

Casa Pince is a great hotel to stay in the ramblas. It feels safe and very nice. Close to the metro and walkable. The staff was very helpful and provided great recommendations for local bars. Definitely will stay here again in the future!
