The house has nice views of the hillside. Didn’t spend much time there as we were out exploring most days. The driveway was the main downside of this property. It’s has about a 40-45 degree slope that is 120 feet long and winds down the hill. You have to park on the street and walk up and down the winding steeply sloped driveway to come and go from the house, which is below street level. Definitely not a good choice for the elderly or anyone with bad knees, as it hurt my knees every step coming and going up and down the driveway.The driveway street entrance has a very heavy gate that must be manually pulled open and closed, which takes an effort to move.
The microwave and clothes dryer did not work as advertised. A working microwave was brought in after one week passed of our two week stay. The dryer ran, but did not dry my clothes after running repeated cycles for hours. My clothes were left with a bad mildew smell and could not be worn after washing them due to being so long in a dryer that could not dry them.
There are many dogs in the neighborhood that bark throughout the night and early morning, which force you to close bedroom windows instead of leaving them open for a breeze. You still hear dogs barking with the windows closed. The neighbors feed stray cats regularly and there are a lot of them around. There is no central air conditioning, if you want to sleep with AC.
