The location is great. Can’t beat the location, property is very good and staff was very nice. Rooftop is fabulous. Breakfast buffet is overpriced and poor I felt. Fruits and breads.. nothing made to order. Room was ok. Never smelled fresh in the room. TV channels were horrible for an American and limited small water bottles and coffee.. it’s 4 or low 4 star hotel .. but that’s nice..

Excellent location. Excellent staff. Rooftop bar with fantastic views. Great amenities. The room was clean albeit small, but you can’t beat the location. Close to shops, restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed ourselves and will come back.

Hotel Colon on one of the best, if not the best hotels in the Gothic Quarter. Everything is in close proximity and easy to get to from the hotel. There’s many dining options around the hotel and I would definitely recommend staying at HC to anyone. There is also a restaurant on site and the breakfast buffet has better food than some of the restaurants I tried outside of the hotel. The staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming in all areas of the hotel from the moment you walk in. This my top pick to stay for recurring trips to Barcelona.
