All Staff was great at this hotel. The actual room wasn’t that good at all. There is not sound proofing you can here everything from the hallway the room above pipes in the wall make rattling noise in the middle of the night. The air conditioner blows directly in your face when lying in bed. The stand up shower dosent drain good there is hardly a slope for the drain and water pools up and comes out the door you have to spend time to clean up everyday after shower.

The Monument Hotel is ideally located at a street corner with Passeig de Gracie (Paseo de Gracia). It is close to all the luxury shops and offers a boutique hotel experience. One of the key reasons for booking this hotel was the ability to have two (2) joining rooms, so that my wife and I could have our own bedroom and ensuite, while my two (2) daughters have their own bedroom and ensuite. This is very practical when three (3) women must be ready at the same time to attend a timely dinner or other evening events that require hair and make-up preparation. The staff at the the hotel was EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!

The property is beautiful and very well kept. Everyone who works here is friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended! The staff were super friendly. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. It's within walking distance to most sightseeing spots, close to lots of great restaurants, and near Passeig de Gracia, a top shopping area in Barcelona.
