Near all main areas, and shopping locations. Reminder its near the Gothic District so don't get caught up with the neighborhood looks. After you see you can walk 30 mins to almost anything you will say wow.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! If you can call it a hotel, more like a converted block of flats, in the worst area of Barcelona. First of all the room they call superior double was just a small room with a double bed in it, nothing like the picture. The pool is an absolute joke, more like a pond or paddling pool for dogs. No facilities what so ever! So we thought maybe breakfast will be better, even though the breakfast area was tiny. Complete joke. You have to make your coffee in a coffee machine with pods, dry egg that wasn't replenished at 10am even though the breakfast doesn't finish until 10.30 ( no other guests are coming! ) we were told. A few bits of cheese and dried up meat, so bad! This hotel is so over priced! Doesn't deserve 1 star let alone 3! And the area is so dangerous, even the woman on reception told us she carries CS gas! We were so disappointed we checked out and found another hotel. We wasted so much time waiting for Expedia to confirm a 2 day refund so we could find somewhere else but during this time the italian lady on reception who was dealing with it was quite rude, sarcastic and not that helpful until the end, when she apologised. Overall terrible experience and the worst hotel i have ever stayed in! FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

This is a beautiful and small hotel located in a loud, dirty neighborhood. The noise was constant day and night until early hours of the morning. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, with very friendly employees and excellent service. The problem is its location… it is walking distance to different amenities and to the bus and metro stations.

Decent hotel don’t get the neg comments
Don’t get some of the reviews about this place saying it’s noisy and a bad area, do people not realise it’s in a city there will be a bit of noise and there are some dodgy characters knocking about however didn’t notice any near hotel and only noise tending to be morning deliveries. We had medium room and only complaint was the room a little small, wardrobe and shelf’s were fine but the bed side table was so small so there wasn’t space for anything other than phone so anything else (wallet, books, drinks, bags etc) had to go under the bed. There was a little collapsible table but that made it difficult to get past, there was a kettle in wardrobe but not sure where you could plug this in as the table didn’t have a plug near it and as mentioned the bed side table was small. Some bigger bedside tables or with shelf’s under it would help.

Do NOT stay here!!! It’s not a safe place
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! First the neighborhood is downright dangerous! Drugs are rampant and after 11pm it odd so noisy you cannot sleep! Then they control your air conditioning so at night it’s so hot! Put the ac aside, trust me this neighborhood is not safe and you put your life in your hands staying here!

Solid choice downtown.
Excellent staff. English speaking and very helpful. Location is good, close to a lot of downtown destinations. Rooms are clean and comfortable. However, there was not a single tv channel in English. The BBC and CNN options are not subscribed to by the hotel and this was a shame. The deck on the roof is quiet but the pool is not heated. Overall I would stay here again!
