I am a solo 47 year old female traveller. I was very impressed with how safe I felt. I was initially nervous but it was a wonderful space. They have created amazing common areas. I loved all the activities they planned so people can make connections with other travellers. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely go back. So much better than I could have imagined.

I've had an amazing stay at this hostel. The location of the hostel is amazing. They offered various activities, family dinners, pub crawls, free walks, so it was easy to meet new people. Our trip to the bunkers with Federica was very fun! I would definitely stay here again.

One of the best hostels! The staff members are super kind and friendly. When I arrived, Daves showed me all the amenities and explained about the activities, which helps a lot if you're looking to make friends or what to do in the city. The hostel is very clean all the time, and there are plenty of cleaned washrooms with hairdryer. Also, there are lockers in the rooms, and a storage for luggages with no additional cost. I highly recommend this hostel :)

Great for solo travellers

I booked a 4 night stay at Sant Jordi’s for my stay in Barcelona, which was an excellent choice in hindsight; it felt like a safe “home away from home” hub for the entire time. The staff were particularly friendly, and the hostel itself holds a lot of character with its rock&roll themed decor, along with all the daily activities and social opportunities it has on offer. The location was great - not far from the main CBD of Barcelona but just far enough away to feel like a good place to rest. Everything was close and accessible enough. My only complaint was that there was an issue with the door leading to the balcony in my 6-bed room; which got fixed on the day I was checking out. The bathroom in my room was also a wheelchair accessible style - and had a funny smell to it; so I used the main shared bathroom next door most days instead. Other than this, I have high praises for this hostel and would definitely return next time I’m in Barcelona, or another one of their branches in other cities :)
